Betterchips Consulting (www.betterchips.com) is a cybersecurity and technology consulting firm and managed services provider located in Columbus, Ohio specializing in technical and compliance matters for attorneys and their clients. Betterchips is searching for a Jr. Systems Administrator for general systems and application provisioning, monitoring, support and more.

The ideal candidate is someone who is well-versed with technology, is organized and can communicate effectively while working remotely. Experience with Windows (Desktop and Server Editions and/or Linux distros (CentOS/RHEL and Debian/Ubuntu), server and desktop hardware, network hardware (switch/router), Google G-Suite and Skype are required. Experience with Cloud services such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure a plus.

A typical day might include:

• Reacting to automated system notifications
• Scheduling or performing system maintenance tasks as assigned
• Assisting clients with basic issues via telephone, email or helpdesk
• Assisting consultants and other technical assets with special projects which may include data and log analysis, systems tasks, technical research and more
